The food is well above average and the service is always good. It is a busy and fairly noisy establishment. Not a good choice for a romantic dinner due to the abundance of children.

Today I persuaded a friend to dine with me at Brio Grille in Winter Park, FL. When we arrived we were handed the lunch menu and escorted to a table. With the lunch menu in hand I ordered the two entrees for my guest & me under the "Lunch Plates" heading. When my bill was offered, it had the dinner menu price--more than twice the price for my guest's Gorgonzola Lamb Chops. It went from $14 to $28 . I asked the server why the greater price and was told it was because it was after 3 pm. As an infrequent customer of the establishment, I was unaware of the cutoff time for lunch prices. I was told that we got 3 more lamb shops for the extra $14. The server said he would ask the manager to take off $10 but returned to the table to say that we just got caught up in the changeover of lunch to dinner and that the hostess was just filling in and didn't realize that she gave us the "lunch" menus. The food, I must say, was excellent. The experience left me quite disappointed in how the matter was handled as well as the price of lunch--more than I had planned to spend. Everything else we order from the add-on chopped salad to my entree was at the lunch price. Be careful how you order!
