Not impressed

Went their for respiratory problems after lost my job and had to go on Medicaid. My appt. was for 8:00am and I was called in a 9:45am then waited in a patient room for 15 more minutes to see a physician's assistant. Went off Medicaid but no insurance, cost to see PA is $100 just for office visit. On a side note Dr. Mercado was physician in charge at my mother's nursing home. She has parkinson's disease he prescribed her schizophrenia medication which was never a treatment of her neurologist. As far as I know once you are in a nursing home your own doctors are not permitted to attend to you. When we discharged her from nursing home, her neurologist took her off that medicine.
