untrained tech left wheel cleaner sitting on chrome wheel

my experience with tophat carwash has been a nightmare, i drove in on 7-21-08 at 5:03 pm, and asked for and exterior wash and a hand washing of the new chrome wheels, when truck was returned the wheels had been burned , i was one of the last customers , when i stopped at the gas station and took a look at the wheels my jaw dropped, so i called the number on the receipt, they were closed, so i drove up the next morning , and asked for the manager and spoke to ray and he said the guy that washed my wheels was off today, so he had one of the other techs try to remove it with no luck, and now ray said he would have a confrence call with the owners i guess, and he would get back to me, also saying that the wheels were already like this when i drove up, , basicaly he call me a liar, so i contacte bbb and the city of wpb, i am going to contact channel 5 news next and attorney if they dont replace my wheel , these wheels were just released by status wheel corp a month ago, i am going to pickett in front of the store until they replace my wheels,,i would not recomend this detailing shop to a singlt soul, none of there techs are certified, the only shop in town that is, is motorcity carwash, all techs are certified and trained, dont make the same mistake i did, do it your self, and if you dont have time ,, motorcity carwash it, dont take a chance

horrible place

i went there to get my 5.0 mustang's engine detailed. when i got it i had driven away and stopped at a gas station to check the job. aweful, oil was still on the brackets, some stuff just needed a paper towel wipe and was left to dry. top hat used to be a great place, now they just dont care. i called to complain, after all i tipped each person that did the job 5 dollars before i knew i got banged, and they hung up on me! all they did was spray the engine with degreaser and left it, their customer service and work has gone way down hill. i dont recomend it to anyone.

LOUSY EXPERIENCE

I went to Top Hat and a fat Mexican lady took care of me. The lady at the desk also had quite a spare tire and gave me quite a bit of attitude. My was still wet when they finished with it so I dried it myself....

They give discounts for women on Ladies' Day (I think it's Tuesdays). Also, if it rains within 48 of your wash, you can bring your car back and they will wash it again for you.
