Unfortunately regular business hours aren't on the menu here. Went out of our way for a closed sign at 6 pm on a Thursday. Wound up at a mediocre Krystal instead :(

Great family restaurant. Excellent BBQ - rib sandwiches were exceptional. And the tea - it's the REAL THING - deep, dark tea sweatened to perfection. And don't forget the buttermilk pecan pie.

Barbecue in Dallas is such a different thing from Memphis style barbecue. We focus on brisket with a thick sweet sauce, they focus on tender, melt in your mouth, connective tissue dissolved pork...
