Very Cool Place

Where do you start Well lets talk about firstly the owners Tom and Tracy very cool laid back couple who work the business 24/7 along with family members and locals who all help make the place a very unique environment. I have to say and my mother won't agree is that they have the best damn Mac and cheese on the planet. Sorry mom! Lots of eye candy to keep you interested with its eclectic ambiance full of art work and collectibles which are fun. Interesting textures throughout create a really warm yes progressive environment. They put themselves out by supporting the music community and hire in bands from all over so there is always something different going on. I say well done guys and I hope this little review encourages others to stop by and check it out!

Fabulous Organic Vittles -- Great Live Music!

The Skyway is back and grooving! On Highway 26, just east of Zigzag, west of Rhody -- the address and map given above are not quite accurate. Chef Horner cures many of his own locally grown healthy meats -- Everything is local, fresh, organic. The mac and cheese has gourmet cheeses and tons of cream -- The salads are fabulous; the wild grilled salmon with various sauces is a knockout. -- The bar is hopping with friendly locals and warm cozy fires both inside and out to welcome newcomers. Then there's the live music on Saturdays -- often on Fridays and Sundays. The New Iberians play zydeco -- The Zen Tricksters get the place rocking -- It's always a treat! The atmosphere is clear with smoking areas outside under heatlamps -- with foosball and gardens. Inside you'll find the odd vintage ceiling, artwork, antiques, and warm wooden floor -- ah, and the huge old fireplace. To learn who's playing, call 503-622-3775. Way worth the trip up the mountain!!
