Bad Haircut and Hostile Demeanor

I arrived at the hair salon with clean flat ironed straight hair ready for a trim by my usual attendant. My normal attendant was not there so another attendant cut my hair. I specifically & repeatedly told her to just trim the ends. But she cut my hair too short and uneven -- I even became alarmed during the cutting because it appeared that she was cutting so much hair (my hair was long and I could not see behind me) - but she told me that she was just trimming it. When I inspected my hair and showed her that is was too short and very uneven, she said she would fix it but I had lost confidence in her. A male attendant told me he would fix it but he would have to wash my hair first. When I advised him that I have very fine, frizzy, fragile hair that is difficult to wash and dry, he became hostile insisting that he could manage anyone's hair -- he yelled, he threw his arms around and then refused to fix it unless I agree to have them wash my already clean very difficult to wash and dry hair.. Another attendant finally evened out my hair by cutting an addition 1 inch from my already too short hair. I know this may seem trivial but too often hair salons provide poor service and nasty attitudes when you complain but they remain in business another day to do the same thing to another customer. Consumer beware.

Absolutely love the Salon Roi

I absolutely love the charming historic site of Salon Roi, a very unique salon with a beautiful spring flowers. I have been going to Salon Roi for many years not just for the beautiful suroundings but also for the talented staff:hair stylists, estheticians, and best manicures and pedicures from Marita.

the building is a million years old and very dirty and smells like dead alley rats, DC has a lot! Maria gave me the best pedicure I've ever had, and Bianca gave me a beautiful updo for a special event. The ladies were Great, but the smell is to much for me.

smells funny
