UP station is crackin on the weekends and significantly busy on the weekdays. Drinks are good, service is great. Karaoke all week long. Not a lot of places to sit. Get there early if you want a seat.

UP Station Great Hang Out...Drinking Liberally UPBlue4You

5 out of 5 stars for a local place! UP Station and its staff are great. It is a local bar and grill in the 28th LD. Right near democratic headquarters. The food is great, and on Wednesdays when UPBLUE4You meets for our bi-monthly "Drinking Liberally" group they serve great steaks reasonably priced. I do not agree that it is a dive; it is not as fancy as some larger theme bars but it is a local hang out and you can meet the hardcore regulars (who admittedly in any local bar are the professional drinkers) but you also meet really nice people and Tony who runs the Karaoke is great. I do wish it was a tad bigger because it gets crowded but it is a very nice place where people are accepting and open which is great. University Place has a larger Morman community and they do not drink so we are lucky to have such a great bar at all!
