Don't care for service

This Brown Derby Roadhouse service and management stinks! My husband and I went there since I love steak, and got seated promptly, but then I noticed others around us who were seated AFTER us, were getting their food already! When I was finally able to get our waitress's attention, she said it would be right out; not so. When the manager finally did bring our food to us, he said, "At least it's nice and hot" !?!?! Was he for real??? I would expect to get hot food no matter what; NEVER offered to reimburse at least one meal, offer anything other than his words (it took OVER an hour to get our food, and 2 different reasons why)...guess he was just in too big of a hurry to leave for the night. SHAME ON YOU!! Will not go back again.

Expert should try again for fair assesment

although i will agree with the expert that the place is a little on the pricey side for the amount of food, the food is amazing. I go to eat at the Roadhouse a lot and the level of service and the quality of the food depend on how busy they are. because it seems that they are sometimes understaffed to handle the amount of people that go there to eat. there are only two guys to cook all of the steaks for the people eating there, so therefore if they are packed, the likelyhood that they will mess up a steak is there. also it seems like the wait staff tries there hardest. as i said i go there alot, and the quality of the experience varies. but that is because they cook the food fresh and dont bring in pre-packaged meals like the big named stores like applebees and red lobster to name a few. i think that if the expert went once or twice more, they might have a different review of the restaurant.

Open List

was in there for sweetest day, service was poor, manager rude, parlor was dirty, food was overdone, too expensive for what you get, will never go back
