Yelp.com Review - by Sandy B.

5.0 of 5 stars. For the most part, food in Stanwood and Camano Island sucks. However, this place is the one gem that my husband and I have found in the area. The food is tasty, always fresh, and the portions are...

Yelp.com Review - by Courtney R.

4.0 of 5 stars. I always end up here at Christmas time (my brother and I threaten to order the Peking duck!!) and since we couldn't get far in the snow and ice this year, we found ourselves downing sake and feasting...

Authentic and Flavorful

After my favorite Chinese restaurant closed down several years ago, I had been hunting for a replacement. Found it! I like a lot of vegetables, with flavorful but not overwhelming sauces. The chicken chow mein and chicken chop suey are excellent - not at all bland as you may find elsewhere. The sweet & sour sauce is tart as it should be. They use fresh vegetables and you can definitely tell. We also like the broccoli beef, kung pao, and fried rice. When you go, try the ginger prawns. You won't be disappointed. The service is so attentive, that one day when my husband and I were craving soup and the dining room wasn't too busy, the chef altered the recipe just to suit us! In addition, the staffing has seemed pretty consistent over the past year that we've been going here - which is typically a good sign of a well run place. Their menu is quite extensive, and even includes suggested plates for vegetarians. Try Dragon Palace - I would be surprised if it could disappoint anyone.
