Like anyone, she is in it for the money. She'll buy something from you at a fraction of the price and if you come back the next day you will see your item priced at almost what you bought it for. Her stuff is more expensive than the goodwill down the road. She does pay more than the other consignment shops though. If you are selling clthes though, she only gives store credit.
