All I can say is, it is poor form taking advantage of people at a time of stress and need. Osterman's office policy requires pre-payment of amounts not covered by insurance. As the first use of Medical Ins. we were required to pay the deductible. When his office failed to process the insurance in a timely manner we had to pay the deductible a second time. We proceeded to wait for 4 months, requesting a refund at least weekly to cover the bills coming in. Osterman's office sent a refund of 75% saying there was an error in the insurance filing and they are correcting it. It is now in excess of 7 months and according to their own records they still owe us the remainder. Still they refuse to refund the overcharge.

Good Surgeon

Dr Osterman did surgery on my elbow on 12/28/07. He was very efficient and helpful in all aspects. I would highly recommend him to anyone.

Two New Knees

My husband has two new knees thanks to Dr. Osterman. He walks pain free now. Dr. Osterman did a wonderful job and his staff was helpful. We went to a doctor in Tulsa but he would only do one knee at a time. Then we heard about Dr. Osterman from a lady at the church. Dr. Osterman agreed to do both knees at the same time. My husband did not want to go through the recovery period twice. It was hard to find a doctor that would do both knees at the same time because the doctor does not get paid for the second knee by the insurance company. My husband still works and was concerned about the amount of time he would miss from work. He was only out 6 weeks. Dr. Osterman's nurse helped me fill out paper work so we could get our disability insurance to pay us a little income while he was unable to work. Thank goodness there are still doctors out there concerned about the patient and not the dollar.
