the restaurants do not sell apple butter by the jars. Those are actually sold by the Applebarn cider mill. Its in the same complex but is a buisness independent of the 2 restaurants. so any calls or complaints should have been directed to the Cider mill and not the restaurant. there is often confusion between the 2.

I am very disappointed in this restaurant! I bought 2 jars of apple butter and when I returned home, I discovered that the jars were not sealed properly. I bought the jars as gifts and could not give them for fear that the tainted apple butter would make my eldely parents sick. I wrote TWICE to the Applewood Farmhouse restaurant but heard nothing! I will never eat there again! Please use caution if decide to eat there that the apple butter may be from one of their defective jar and you may get sick.
