My friends purchased a boxer puppy from the Gilbert store who had kennel cough. Store treated her but my friend saw her vet records and they stated she might have hip dysplasia.They questioned this diagnosis. Long story short, they had her x-rayed (by a store recommended vet): results inconclusive (too young). My friends offered to adopt her. They were willing to take the puppy home and get her the hip dysplasia surgery she needed but the store said they would not adopt her out or reduce her price. The store would rather lose the sale by sending her back to the breeder to be destroyed than be adopted by people willing to get her the surgeries she needed. The dog disappeared from the store with no word to my friends. A few days later, the boxer puppy appeared at the Arrowhead Towne Center "Puppies N Love" at full price. Even though Puppies N Love advertises as a store that uses "No Puppy Mills", they still have deplorable ethics.
