Neighborhood Hair Company

Friendly and fun staff. Inexpensive and yet highly skilled stylists for the whole family. Have been going there for many years. Even the teenagers like it.

she had no idea what she was doing..

I just moved to the valley and needed my roots touched up. I arrived at the salon and was sent to a different stylist from the one that I was scheduled with. No big deal I thought...I wish I would have waited!! I sat down expecting to get a partial foil and a quick trim. What I got was 2 different tints. She messed up on the first one. I didn't even want her to tint my roots...I wanted the foil/highlighting process. I didn't make any sense why she choose to tint (maybe she was lazy??)But before I could tell her to stop she had already plopped a big mess on top of my head. I went from a light brown with blond highlights to a light washed out redhead with darker brown underneath. And all throughout the process she continued to argue with the other stylists about petty things. It was clear that she wasn't liked among her co-workers, and I was offened that they would pawn me off to her. I thought that maybe she wouldn't charge full price since we had to wash my hair over and over again and the fact that obviously I was upset. I was wrong. I walked out in tears. I wouldn't say the salon is horrible but the stylist was. (Chandler Blvd location)
