On Sunday August 18 2008, we took a trolley tour that ended at City Market, Right in front of VVGG, and right at lunchtime. Our tour guide HIGHLY recommended this place. We walk up to what appears to be the front entrance...there is a young woman out there--a hostess in charge of seating. She yanks two menus and a jar of Parmesan sprinkle cheese from her hostess stand, tosses it on an inside table right by the kitchen door, and turns to walk away. There is ONE other table with people sitting at it on the patio when we were seated. So we ask, "Can we sit out, closer to the sidewalk?" She looks completely EXASPERATED and put upon. She turns around, does this kind of "These tourists piss me off" kind of shudder, collects herself if even only a tiny bit, grabs our menus and sprinkle cheese from the table she'd just put them on and ACTUALLY TOSSES them on another table out by the sidewalk, gives us a nasty look, and walks back to her hostess stand. They may have the best pizza in the world, but they seriously need to work on their employees. Bad job, no matter how good the pizza is.
