One of Sanibel's Oldest Restaurants - And Best

Can't give too many stars to Gramma Dot's Seaside Saloon! It's a Sanibel icon for a good reason! When I'm visiting in early summer, I show up for lunch nearly daily with fingers-crossed, hoping soft shell crab sandwich is the day's special (delicious, but not for the faint hearted) I noticed a fellow soft shell crab lover published an interesting online review called: "Waterfront Restaurants Sanibel Island, Florida" Great soft shell photo there too, if you're curious :-) it's worth a peek and a taste for sure!
