User Reviews of Slaughs Car Care

3 brakes replaced instead of 4

I failed inspection because of the handbrake and Slaugh's told me I needed new brakes all around so $300 later and new brakes I went back and failed inspection again. So I went back, he adjusted the handbrake...

Not honest, overpriced . Stay away !!!!

what I can say about Slaugh's is they dont know how to repair properly, and not being honest with the customer. I was treated horribly and will never come back again. Here's my story: my car would not start,...

Not your typical mechanic

After reading great reviews about Slaugh's Car Care, I decided to cancel my appointment at the Honda dealership and take my car here. I'm SO glad I did. When I walked in, Mike greeted me and was friendly. He...

Fabulous Service!

I am absolutely PHOBIC of mechanics, and this has been my best experience yet. As a woman who does not know much about cars, I have been A) talked down to and treated like I am an idiot and B) mislead and...

Not impressed

Very nice people but I am not impressed. They had my car for 7 hours and only accomplished an oil change. Charged me for a failed emmissions test and a failed safety test when I had ask them to fix the problems so that they would pass. An oil change was all they did and I still had to pay for the failed tests. Not impressed at all, I will find another mechanic!

Worth every penny!

Slaugh's isTHE BEST !!!!! I have a 1999 4-Runner that 4 other mechanics and 3 different auto shops could not get to pass emissions because of a check engine light. Hundreds of dollars wasted, and a ticket...

I've found a great new car mechanic!

Slaugh's was personable, very reasonable and I was very satified. They found the problem with my temperature issues and found it was a plugged hose. They cleaned that gratis (a dealership never would have!)...

Only place I use in SLC.

The service is always friendly and quick. The price is affordable. The job always gets done right and the staff doesn't try to get you for repairs you don't actually need.

Friendly and Competent

Although costly, the repairs were still cheaper than the dealership quoted. In addition to all the work I had done, Slaugh's fixed two things for free - the control panel for windows and door lock was broken...

Dream Shop

Always friendly! Car is always ready when they say it will be so there's no waiting around unless someone else is paying when you get there. The price is never outlandish, they don't do unecessary things, and...

A Good Experience

I had my CV axles replaced, which cost me $400 total. They were fast and courteous. Of interest, I was there during closing time, and they were busy moving a car into the garage so that its owner (who hadn't...
