Love my docs

I started seeing Dr. Robinson at the Avenues Women's Center when I was 18, and now I am 32. I have never had a bad experience. You always have the option of seeing a Nurse Practitioner or the Doctor when you schedule appointments. I have only seen a Nurse Practitioner one time, and she was very pleasant. My doctor takes the time to answer any and all questions that I have, and she has never rushed through an exam. In addition, I recieve a phone call about a week after every exam telling me the results of the tests. Even a friend of mine makes a 3 hour drive just to see her doctor who is in that same office because she likes her so much.

Can we say insensitive!

I read about the Avenues Women's Center on the internet, and decided to try it out. I met with a nurse practitioner who did my exam. She seemed to care less about me personally, then she proceed to lecture me in a very insensitive manner about my weight. I began to cry, afterwhich I was rushed through my appointment,and told that if I chose a doctor I would mostly likey never meet her.When I asked about my lab results, the nurse replied," no news is usually good news!" If you're looking for personable and efficent healthcare, I would recommend going elsewhere.

Hurry up and wait

It took me three months to get an appointment. Once there my sit in the waiting room was 1 hour 15 minutes. My doctor was Cannon. She rushed me through an exam in less than 5 minutes. Couldn't seem to get anyone to call me back with test results. Very busy office, to busy. I won't go back.
