Unfortunate review

I am saddened that the previous customer had a bad experience at my salon, Americuts. I am the owner and you can bet I will be reviewing the video tapes made that day and will take corrective action. It's unfortunate that one employee comment can ruin my business for a whole family. I sure wish you had come in on a weeknight when I work. My Sincere apologies for rudeness. Debbie-Owner

We won't return to Americuts

Our 4 1/2 year old daughter has been begging us to get her hair cut for the last week. We live very close to AmeriCuts, so we decided to take her there. We walked in at 4:46 pm. The sign on the door said that they closed at 6, but there was a paper sign hung up in the window saying they would be closing at 5 on Sundays until further notice. The neon Open sign was off, but I know that I have anywhere from 3-5 neons at my work that can be out at any given time, so we went in - my wife and I and 3 of our 4 kids, one of them 2 weeks old. There were two people working and the lobby was empty. Before we stepped 2 feet in the door, one of the women working said "Um..we closed at 5. That's why the Open sign is off." I looked at their clock and pointed out that it wasn't 5:00 yet. She said that they had people on the list and that was why they were closed. THE WAITING LIST MUST HAVE BEEN HUGE WITH NO ONE IN THE LOBBY! Not to mention that before we even got back in the car, parked right in front of the door, she was already done with her customer and was cashing him out. I realize that at the end of the night it can be frustrating when you have a throng of customers walk in the door shortly before you close, but that does not excuse the rudeness displayed by the employee working. Had she simply said, "I'm sorry, but we're not taking any more customers this evening," I would not have been upset and would have likely returned tomorrow. Not now. Not ever.
