We take our cocker spaniel, Angel, to WGAH every year for her exam and vaccinations. The technicians and vets are very competent and answered my questions. However, I have yet to have my dog seen at the time of the appointment and today was no exception. Our appointment was for 1:10PM and we wer seen about 1:45 PM. The front staff also are cold and efficient as though the hospital has hired Vulcans. No smiles. Nothing friendly. Just cold efficiency. The one thing I do not like about this hospital is they will not extend me the courtesy of faxing my dog's heartworm prescription to the PetMeds folks. (And it is an 800 number and no expense to them!) The staff once said that it is illegal to do so, but the Humane Society does it all the time. It turns out they don't WANT to. I even arranged a three-way phone call with the PetMeds folks and the Hospital to get the verbal okay from the vet, but the vet refused to take the call! This is NOT good customer service by POLICY. The rating system should have a neutral option for the very reasons I've stated above. I like their vets and prices, but I can't stand the coldness of the staff nor the no fax policy.

last weekend our lab Chester got into the trash. He had bloody diarrhea all over and we had out of town company coming the next day. We didn't arrive at webster groves animal hospital until 1 in the morning and were so happy to see they were open. They saw us quickly and admitted Chester and treated him for a day and a half. They assured us that their overnight staff would take good care of our boy - we hated to have him sleep somewhere else. Long story short, we will be transferring all of our pets to them. They spent a lot of time talking to us to get an idea of our set up at home. They suggested a few changes in their environment and the doctor suggested that I run tests on my lizard that my old vet never suggested. We couldn't be happier! For top quality reptile care, you gotta see Dr. Weltig!

We started taking our little LuLu to Webster Groves Animal Hospital 13 years ago. At that time she was a little puppy. They have seen her through her old age and we are so grateful for all the care you have given her! We will never forget that late night a few years ago when we had to rush her in for an emergency - you guys were there and helped her pull through! Now our family has grown to include two new kittens. They sure keep LuLu busy! We will bring our two new additions in to see you soon - we can't wait for them to meet their vet!

My family and I started taking our puppy to Webster Groves Animal Hospital a few years ago based on numerous recommendations from family and friends. We have had nothing but a pleasant experience there!! To my family they offered a much better option than the emergency clinic in St. Louis. We had to take our cat in there 5 years ago and it was a horrible experience! Not only did our cat die but the bill was outrageous and the staff very uncaring. Not so at Webster Groves Animal Hospital! Their pries are very fair and the staff has always taken such good care of our babies! They have vaccination packages that we get every year - a basic one for our young Sparky dog and one that includes bloodwok for our older Sady dog. The vet always does a good exam and lets us know if there is anything wrong that we were unaware of. The vet also answers all of our questions (which we write out ahead of time so this can last awhile). Keep up the good work - my family always recommends you!!

My family has taken our puppy here based on the recommendations of our friends. We couldn't be happier! They have vaccination packages - we get he basic one for our young sparky do and one that includes bloodwork for our old Sadie dog. We have used Webster Groves Animal Hospital for the last 3 years. The staff has always been busy but friendly. We always see the same doctor, but that is because we ask for him. Last year our cat was hospitalized for 5 days. He was taken care of like king! Every day when we would visit the techs all knew our boy cat and would offer us words of comfort. He fully recovered and is doing great! I have compared their prices on shots and they are very reasonable. I won't go anywhere else and recommend them to all my friends!!!

We have used Webster Groves Animal Hospital for the last 3 years and have been extremely happy there! The staff was wonderful last year when our cat was hospitalized for 5 days. They treated him like a king! Every day when we would visit, the techs all knew our boy cat and would offer us words of comfort during a trying time. Now he is home and doing well. I called around this year to compare vaccine prices and was pleased to find that Webster Groves Animal Hospital was very reasonable - they do live up to the price listed coupons in the phone book for annual vaccines.
