ECT ruined years of my life

Dr. Goodman made it perfectly clear that ECT would help me with my depression. He did not explain, however, that the damage it did to my brain would create memory loss for years and years. This doctor did irrevocable harm to me. If anyone, ever, had to consider ECT as a possible "treatment", I would urge them to refuse. Another psychiatrist told me that the only way he would ever use it was in cases of catatonia. It is deliberately and wantonly damaging to your life and your ability to think clearly--for years. They deny this, but it is the truth. I urge you to research ECT and see the monstrous hurt it has created among the emotionally ill in our country.

Great!

He's extremely good at what he does. He isn't afraid to use well-documented, experimental medications or therapies if they're really needed. He changed my life!
