Horrible

Food was Bad. Cold. Sloppy. Went there for lunch there were no lights on! Couldn't barely see the menu. They were slow and the service was still bad. I don't even know if there was a manager in the restaurant....

GREAT ITALIAN FOOD!

I moved from MILAN italy to work here in michigan and after months of missing my mom's food, a friend of my, told me about this place DOLCE VITA at riverview OMG! JUST LIKE MOM! i love this place and the service is excellent also the prices are very affordable, at list 2 times a week I stop at dolce to have a lunch or dinner.excellent place stop and try!

Go Somewhere Else!

Awful Customer Service

I will never visit this restaurant again, nor will I recommend it to anyone. After a family member had finished a glass of wine, I noticed what looked like at least 2 tablespoons of raw sugar at the bottom of her glass. It looked repulsive, but she tasted it thinking it was probably just sugar. No, it wasn't sugar. But whatever it was, it was disgusting enough to send my family member running to the restroom, where she lost her entire dinner. This would not have been a big deal had the manager and owner handled this issue in an appropriate manner, but they didn't. Not only were we told that this is normal, but that they were not responsible. We were talked down to by the owner himself, even yelled at. Slightly short of being escorted out of their restaurant, we were left with a very upset mother who only wanted to take her daughters out for a nice dinner. I have never encountered such rudeness, especially by an owner of an establishment like that. I do not recommend this restaurant, and sadly, it's because of their customer service and not even because of their food. Although after that incident we had lost our appetite, and it wasn't even worth it. The server was absolutely wonderful though, and tried to do his best to fix the situation. Maybe the owner needs to learn something from his server?

I have been here on a few occasions, and while it is not my favorite, it is satisfactory. I just feel as if the price is high for what they offer. You can go elsewhere, get the same quality food, and pay less....

Awesome Italian Food!

We use this restaurant for al of our celebrations! We found it 4 years when we moved to the down river area and have been loving it ever since. My kids love going on the weekends and singing with the guitar...

Best around the area

Best Italian Downriver
