The Jefferson Hotel showed guests at a recent wedding the most horrendous customer service that I have ever experienced. They closed the bar an hour-and-a-half early, quoting that it was "out-of-control" @ 8PM....which was so far from the truth it was ridiculous-also, they insisted on carding everyone @ the adult reception even those who were so obviously over 21. They put a one drink per person limit so that dates were not able to offer to a lady to get a drink-or foe the more elderly members it was a joke! The manager at one point even said to someone who asked for a drink (3rd in three hours) "No, go away please". so embarrassing that they would act that way to the people who paid them money for an open bar. and two hours into the wedding close it. They also interjected on the music side when they told the DJ to play only slow songs, again after normal wedding music was being played the entire time....people want to dance @ a wedding and not be treated like little children. It was a lovely evening since we were altogether but it was hampered by the total lack of respect that was shown to us by the managerial staff
