Armondo Pavone, OwnerIn 1986, George Armondo Pavone (known as "Mondo") opened Armondo's Cafe Italiano to the public with a staff of five, ten tables, and a menu of pizza and spaghetti on the corner of 3rd & Main in downtown Renton. The growing success and popularity of Armondo's created the need for expansion. In 2005, Armondo's closed its doors and reopened at the corner of Wells & Houser Way in downtown Renton.
