I have seen many reviews and they are all over the place. This place rocks. They make EVERYTHING there, there chef and service staff has been there for the last 15 years I have been going. Fine food is expensive and cheap people can't appreciate it. Did I really see a complaint because someone had too man clams in their dish? Too few would have been something to complain about too. Shame seeing such trivial complaints about a restaurant that has been in Reno for 31 years. Servers like TUi have been taking car of me since the late 80's. Anyone know another place where your waiter is there year after year? PLus, they can make you whatever you want. Do you know another Chef that is happy to tweak menu items to your liking? With no attitude?

My new husband and I just ate at Rapscallion, and it was fabulous! We started at the bar for the best lemon drop martini I have ever had, and then went in to the restaurant for a wonderful dinner. Just a side note, you can eat the whole menu in the bar area as well, and I thought that was a great addition. The food (I had the halibut and my hubby had a filet) was great, service was the best and like I said, cocktails were perfect and a nice, big size. Try the baked custard they have for dessert, it's amazing!
