Don't Discount the Nurse Practitioners!

I have been a patient of Ralston Family Physicians for about a year and a half now. Recently, I've been having a lot of very different problems and am still being diagnosed. I was seeing one of the doctors there, who was wonderful, but just too busy for what I've been going through. One would think when a doctor has seen you 8 times in 4 weeks, they would remember you and at least one of your issues, but this didn't happen. Not to mention it being impossible to get a call back, even when the doctor told you to call in specifically. So I decided to changed doctors, and ended up seeing Lisa Tate, APN. She is absolutely wonderful! Her nurse, Norie, is terrific as well! Couldn't ask for better care. She takes the time that you need, answers all of your questions, and orders tests relevant to the problems you are having. Then she makes sure you get the results as soon as possible so you aren't waiting and worrying forever, as was always the case before I changed care providers. I even brought my mom to see her, and she is thrilled with Lisa Tate and Norie as well. So don't discount nurse practitioners as being less than doctors - I have received better care from Lisa Tate than I have from any other provider I've ever seen. Thank you.

All Staff

I have been going to Ralston Family Physicians for over 8 years. I have been treated with outstanding service and greatfulness. Needless to say all Dr have been more than polite and Professinal. Especially Dr Thomas O'Gara. Mike Scott
