Awesome Show, Great Service

I went to Rum Runners with some friends for a Birthday party and we had a blast. We got my friend on stage for her birthday and they sang a hilarious song to her... it was pretty naughty, but verrrry funny....

Will never be back

Rude service, bad drinks, some of the worst singers I ever heard. Bartenders seemed like they wanted to talk to themselves more than wait on customers. Piano players ignored the requests and used profanity in...

Horrible Piano show

I have never seen a more horrible show in my life. Having frequented several dueling pianos bars, I was in town visiting some friends who brought me to Rum Runners. We left within 30 minutes. The show was...

Too loud for me by Cathleen R. at InsiderPages

The place is pretty laid back, which is always a plus for me. But the food was somewhat mediocre and it was so loud that my friends and I couldn't even have a conversation with each other. The price is good,...

Yelp.com Review - by Brad G.

4.0 of 5 stars. As I've gotten older, I've found that there are fewer and fewer nights that I want to spend at Rum Runners. Now, that's not because it's a bad place - it's quite the opposite. As I've gotten a real...

Yelp.com Review - by Sarah B.

4.0 of 5 stars. Good to know they can party in Raleigh like my good ole Ft. Worth friends! We hit RR a bit early, which lead to a good hour of our table being the only one belting out tunes right along with the...

Yelp.com Review - by Emily P.

3.0 of 5 stars. Rum Runners is a dueling piano bar in downtown Raleigh. The bar serves incredibly large drinks, and is always incredibly packed with incredibly drunk people. Incredible. This is not the place to go if...

Yelp.com Review - by Adrienne E.

3.0 of 5 stars. I have somewhat of a bad history with Rum Runners, as I had a little crowd-induced panic attack at the Wilmington location a few years ago. Unfortunately, the problems with that location also manifest...

Yelp.com Review - by Christina G.

3.0 of 5 stars. Fun for a sit-down silly night out of crooning to some classic bar tunes. It's typically two guys dueting on two pianos, but sometimes they've got a drummer and a tambourinist (sp?). And together,...

Yelp.com Review - by Eric M.

3.0 of 5 stars. Henry S. said "...don't expect to sit down and have a few drinks and nice conversation with friends." I think that might be a bit of an understatement. Every time I've been in here it's been packed to...

Catch the Friday Night Luau

My friends and I usually go out for dinner and drinks to celebrate each other's birthdays. We were in the mood to do something a little different, so we decided to check out Rum Runners. It was a GREAT choice!...

Love this place by Wendy Q. at InsiderPages

I have been to this place once and loved it. It was crowded but not so crowded or loud that you couldn't talk to someone. The entertainment was great. He was so personable and got everyone involved. It is a...

Yelp.com Review - by Henry S.

4.0 of 5 stars. I love a good dueling piano bar, and Rum Runners does the job well. The pianists there are always great, although being a UNC alum, it's hard to listen to the N.C. State fight song over and over. The...

Yelp.com Review - by Ron W.

3.0 of 5 stars. Rum Runners is one of those places that you'll either love or not love. I'm not much for dueling pianos but if you head over with a group of people and knock a LOT of cocktails down, it can be...

Piano Bar

Rum Runners is a very fun bar to go to. On Wednesday nights they have drinks on special. It's a great atmosphere to hang out with friends and you can request songs for the piano men to play.

Awesome pianos!

This is one of the coolest piano bars I've been to. It's dueling pianos, they take requests (and play all of them). They'll get the audience singing and clapping, and they play everything from rap to country....
