Wag the Dog's philosophy is based in the science of animal behavior (ethology), physiology, neuropsychology, and positive learning theory. These theories provide us with the tools to teach your dog proper play patterns and obedience in a positive environment using only positive reinforcement methods. Importantly, we recognize moderate, prolonged exercise (at least several hours at a time) like that provided at daycare has a therapeutic influence on dogs' physiology. It releases endorphins, serotonin, and other chemicals in the brain that make your dog happier and better able to cope with anxiety. It also promotes a calm, relaxed feeling that can actually help relieve some stress-related behavioral problems.Wag the Dog services dogs of all ages that are healthy and unconditionally friendly to all other dogs and people.
