GREAT DOCTOR

hey dr. zelner if you end up reading this. well my visit in her office was WOnderful. I've had other GYN and there is no one like her. After moving back to Jersey i miss her already. If i ever get pregnant again I will go to your office down in orlando just to make sure you are the one that delivers my baby.

for the 4 year pt complaints (never satisfied)

I have been a pt of Dr. zelner for over 6 years, and I love her, she's great and take time to listen to her pt's and does take very good care of me. About the lady that said that the receptionist made rude facial expressions/comments to the patients not client must be very unhappy with everything everything in her life, at least it seems that way, the receptionist are very pleasant and cheerful all the time and with all patients,I know her for a while know. so, for this orlando native patient who complains so much it was better for her to find another GYN, which I doubt very much it will be like Dr. Zelner and her staff.

Orlando Native

I have been a patient of Dr. Zelner's for 4 years also and I too think that since moving to the new office the waits are unbearable, she often runs 1-2 hours behind. I have to plan 3 hours for a well woman, which should be pretty basic and quick. I have no health issues. I do not like the new office staff. They are either sugar sweet to people or rude and mean. I have seen the receptionist make rude/mean facial expressions and say things under her breath about clients. I think the office manager is too lax on her staff and Dr. Zelner is not aware of how her patients are being treated. She does seem stretched too thin. I like Dr. Zelner, but after my latest visit, July 2008 I am looking for a new GYN.

Bittersweet

I starting seeing Zelner at Sand Lake office 4 years ago. She was great! I got in quickly. I had a mortifying experience which I had to have stitches, she got me right in the early AM and put me at ease. She always had great bedside manner. I have noticed more since the office change the waits have been longer. The last time I sat in the freezing waiting room close to an hour and fourty five minutes. When she came in she spoke with me briefly before answering a call on her cell phone and stepping out. She covered the phone and asked if I understood and I told her she needed to answer my questions. She came back in and sat down and we went over everything until I understood, she's good at that, but she seamed to have made a couple mistakes. She thought she had already started me on a prescription, but she hadn't, and she asked me how they were doing. She told me she was going to go and grab a form of birth control for me before I left, forgetting I haven't been on birth control in over a year and I can't have estrogen! I wasn't mad, but very hurt. I haven't trusted a doctor since my last one put me into renal failure, but Dr. Zelner was like the medicine guru. I went to her for everything, even soar throats, and she took me in. Now I think she's stretched too thin. She's there 4 days a week, and leaves early often and I don't know why so I won't judge. Maybe if they had another doctor in the office they could divide and conquor, and get the reputation back that they once had.
