How does it survive?

I don't mind a dive especially if the food is at least good or a good value. You like the sight & taste of relish in bbq beans? Or lots of black pepper in everything for cheap flavor? How about a charred bun with slow service too. Expensive soda but packed with ice & cheap tasting brand. And arrogant signs wanting $1 extra for anything like a paper plate or equal priced side substitution. No extra sauce on tables & not enough in sandwich. A/C set to 80 degrees! Wouldn't eat there again for free.
