Great introduction to the Tidewater area. The figure head collection is unbelievable. It's large, so plan on learning something new each time you go.

Spend an hour or a Day

We hasve visted the Mariners Museum a couple of times and really enjoyed the exhibits and the little mariners' tidbits we picked up along the way.

"The story of America and the Sea"

You must stop on your way up the Penisula when visiting Yorktown, James town and all the other sites along the at the Mariners Museum. Like everything else today, you will need money.
