Went there a little after 4PM on a Thursday. Place was pretty empty. Put in an order for a Shrimp Po Boy and some Gumbo. We were really looking forward to some good cooking. What we got was God awful. The Po Boy was bad Cuban bread with some soggy shrimp. The gumbo was cold and tasted like refried beans after they'd been left out on the table for a night. There may have been meat in it, but impossible to tell. I've eaten in dives, greasy spoons, and even survived Eastern European plane food, but this was just lousy. How it got it's reputation I'll never know, and certainly won't care. If I was any of those famous people with an autograph on the wall, I'd sneak in and get my picture back. Why not complain about the food to someone who worked there you ask? Go there and see if anyone in the place looks like they would care to do anything about it. Just keep walking past this place and you'll be doing yourself a favor.
