My family and I LOVED IT. In my opinion its for a rider that has ridden before but my 9, 13 and 15 year old daughters had NO PROBLEMS and my wife enjoyed it as well. It's not your easy flat trail.. there is a lot of up and down hills and it lives up to its Muddy Water name. But I would recommend it to almost any one. Clearance and Angela WERE GREAT. I can remember having so much fun so close to home for so little money!!!! Can't wait to go back!

During a family stay-cation in Cincy, I spent a very enjoyable weekday morning on a trail ride (4 kids, 2 adults) from 11 AM to noon. 3 of these children were 11 and under, and all of them had minimal or no experience. An older child had significant experience and the adults had very basic experience with horse back riding. Muddy Water is a charming little ranch and it's no frills. The instructor was funny and kind, straight talking & charming. The small welcoming building hosts some pictures of him with horses and fellow riding friends. The trail itself was beautiful, and enjoyable - slightly challenging, as in not *too* easy or boring. Though we started out on wide trails, the instructor soon took us through brush and up hills, next to small ponds, etc. I enjoyed the scenery as much as I enjoyed the sense of a real trail ride: not just a packaged deal where you travel the same loop several times! The horses were also generally obedient, even for the little kids! Horses were also matched with weight and ability, so that helped. The two youngest riders - who had virtually no experience - were led, one by the instructor, the other by another ranch staff member. I absolutely recommend this trail ride. We paid $25 a person for about an hour trail ride, and I can confidently say that it is the best expenditure we made during our week-long vacation.

What a fantastic idea for the youth of the greater Cincinnati area! My hat is off to Mr. Clemons for his planned contribution to this community.
