User Reviews of Cafe Prague

Yelp.com Review - by Dawn O.

5.0 of 5 stars. The food is fantastic. It is old European cuisine at it's best. I will say the owners and waiters can be a bit snooty but if you engage with them in friend conversation they are very gracious. It is...

Greatest Experience in Denver

I recently moved to the area from Chicago-a town that has hundreds of 4 and 5 star restaurants-and I would put Cafe Prague up against any of them. The entire staff understands service. The portions are large...

2.0 of 5 stars. Ho-Hum sums it up. It was good food but definitely not worth the poor abrasive service. My friend asked for a wine recommendation this is how the conversation went:friend:"Can you recommend a wine...

Well Done Eastern European Food

Some close friends that live in the area suggested we go to Cafe Prague last weekend. I was a little worried after reading the reviews here. But, I trust their taste, and decided to give it a shot. I'm glad we...

Yelp.com Review - by Kimberly S.

4.0 of 5 stars. This is one of those places I always forget about when I'm trying to think of places to go. Too bad, because it is the BOMB if you are craving real stick-to-yer-ribs Eastern European comfort food....

Yelp.com Review - by Scott P.

4.0 of 5 stars. This is a fun, small, quaint place that is very romantic. The food is European and somewhat heavy but always tasty and classy. If you want a relaxing low key place to eat outside on a summer...

bad service

we went to cafe prague last night for a friend's 70th birthday. we made reservations several weeks ago. the bartender took us to a table near the kitchen in the back. we asked for another table in the main room and he left us standing there and went back to the bar. the hostess did give us another table. the waiter was rude and the service terrible. we won't be going back.

AVOID BEING TREATED RUDE

I have never written a review, but felt compelled to warn others! It does not even deserve a one star. Cafe Prague was a complete DISSAPOINTMENT. The owner lacks social skills and conducts himself in a rude...

Yelp.com Review - by Joseph C.

4.0 of 5 stars. I finally got the chance to eat at Cafe Prague this weekend and to say the least it was a really good experience. They offer fine European and American cuisine. Let's call it Euro-Americana, though...

why bother?

We have been to cafe prague twice. The food is good, but service is not. The owner has been rude to us when we drop by without reservations. He has ignored us as we waited at the entrance, and been rude to us...

nice room, boring overpriced food

I love Eastern European food- schnitzels, cured meats, sausages, smoked fish, red cabbage, sauerkraut. Yum. So we ventured to Cafe Prague in Morrison. Great location, and a charming room. But the food? I have...

Cafe Prague?the food is very good but eat fast and leave

The food was very good. My wife and I were treated to Cafe Prague by a coworker to celebrate my retirement. It was an enjoyable evening with good company and good conversation. But apparently we exceeded the...

I am surprised at the negative reviews here. I have been to this restaurant several times with groups of 8 to 10 people and have always enjoyed it. The times I have been there the service was good and the food...

Disappointed and still hungry

My husband and I went to Cafe Prague for our anniversary. I was hesitant to go in the first place, but my husband, being German, was in the mood for some "home" cooking. As usual, I was right. For $14.00 you...

The promise of traditional taste and culture blends that have yet to work out ..

Prague ? the medieval central European city with rich food traditions and variety of tastes ? not so here ? the bland prevails through the courses of goulash and pork. Perhaps the pancake might have fallen...

A faux postmodern nightmare of culinary bs.

I suppose Denverites want to have a "cultural experience"; however, the wait staff noticed that I had a German accent, and brought me a doggy bag after I failed to drink my obligatory apple liquer. Is this a...
