Staff liability

I tried calling Elle Boutique from London last night, after it came very higly recommended from a showroom in Milan, but instead was met by two very rude responses. The first time i called about late morning LA time / early evening London time, I tried to explain to the lady who answered that i was phoning from London and I was trying to get hold of a particular dress.. she very rudely told me the owner is not here yet and hung up! I put it down to the she may be having a bad morning and would call later. I called back about 4 hours later just before I went to bed thinking the owner may now be in the store. However, the same rude lady answered the phone but this time was able to rudely add she was on holiday and quickly hung up before i even got to ask when she would be returning. I am phoning from London so due to the charges and time differency i am trying to avoid randomly ringing just to get a decent response. I was very disappointed as i enjoy by clothes from the US as the service and quality is always superb, this was the first time i experienced such officious service. I am surprised you put such incompetent staff who are potentially a huge liability in the front line. I would be surprised if your business lasts with such service and staff.
