Mistakes???

Pathology report of 11/21/07: According to the pathology report, I was diagnosed with a rare form of cancer that my doctor had never treated. He made the right decision by sending me to M.D. Anderson in Houston, Texas for a second opinion. At M.D. Anderson, I was told I did not have cancer. They also found that I had a Kidney stone and said I should have it taken care of. The result of the original diagnosis was, I had an additional $24,000 in extra medical bills plus $2,000.00 in out of pocket expenses just to find out the original pathology report was incorrect. This does not take into account the stress this has had on me and my family. Anesthesiology on 2/12/08: I woke up after removal of the kidney stone, described above, in the recovery room and just before being discharged I vomited what little white soda I was given. I think I was discharged too quickly because of overcrowding. I went home and vomited, on and off, the rest of that day, night and into the next morning. I%u2019ve had surgeries before and have never had that type of a reaction. I%u2019m aware that patient are sometimes given pepsin, or something like that before surgery, to keep from having an upset stomach after surgery. At M.D. Anderson, I was given pepsin prior to their surgery on me and everything went well.
