Just can't say it's that great

I can't say I was as impressed as I expected to be. After getting a courteous response on the phone (unlike all the other resale places I called where the person who answered the phone was RUDE to me), and looking at their website, I had high hopes. I brought in about 20 outfits and dresses, most of which I thought were very nice. Turns out they weren't? I think they took four of them. The money they offered for the outfits was fair, but I was shocked at the "problems" they pointed out to me . They didn't accept any dark colored items because they said they were "faded" and explained that this is very common with dark colored clothing as it "fades in the sun". One of the navy blue dresses that they rejected was only worn once was worn inside at a wedding and otherwise sat in a closet, so I'm not sure how it could be sun faded. On other items they pointed out some stains that I simply did not see at home. On others they pointed out "discolorations" or stains I couldn't see, some of which must have been purchased that way because again the items were only worn once. I like that they're picky so that you're not picking through junk when you shop, but now I understand why they have a small store. I also have to say that I wasn't that impressed with what they had. As I browsed while they were going through my clothes I was confident that they would want them all because they were much nicer than what they had for sale! I took a store credit, but I don't really want to go back.
