Worth the wait, delicious food

This is a wonderful restaurant; situated on a pond; so you may have a table with a view too. The food is ordered from a menu, and it's worth the wait; as it arrives hot and delicious! There's a huge salt water...

Awful Management

I've decided to stop eating at the Catfish House only because of the management there. Most of the food and the service there was good but if you have a problem with the food (and I just happened to have one with the catfish the last time I was in there) then you have to deal with a young man who might have been the owner's son. He's of age - in his 20s but has no idea as how to keep customers happy. I also have been told by several of the servers there that he treats them like they are less of a person than he is and that's not right either. The catfish that I ordered the last time I was in there tasted too fishy and I'm well aware that some catfish can taste off-color. On this occasion though, the manager has to approve everything (which means he micro-manages the place) and it took him over 30 minutes to finally get to my table - after which time, everyone in my party was finished with their meal except for me. He offered to replace my meal and I told him we were ready to go and that I was no longer interested in eating a replacement meal. He didn't offer to take my meal off the ticket but only wanted to replace the meal - even though it took him over 30 minutes to get to my table to address the issue.
