User Reviews of Stephen J. Shlafer, MD.

Does not pay attention

Personally i have never like Dr. Shlafer, he makes you feel like you are a burden on him, and you are in and out of his office in 5 min. He is definately not personable, like other doctors my kids have seen. The staff is ok, but way to busy to give a second of their time to the patience. North Sound Pediatrics does not have up to date immunization records. Long story short, they had scheduled my daughter for immunizations that she has already had and does not need. I was unaware of this until i requested the child profile Washington state immunization form, from my daughters school nurse. When i looked at this form i saw that she is up to date, and does not need any more shots. And also none of the four shots that she has had from North Sound Pediatrics were on the state form. I have heard of complications from children having too many immunizations, especially when they don't need any more.
