Been going to Gold's for a long time. The food is predictably good every time. At times it seems that the service is slow but it is due to the food is prepared for "you". Gold's is off the Newport...

I probably would give this a two and half stars. Edible mahi mahi which was a bit dry as a special (as they were out of the local sea bass). It was a Sunday evening which might have accounted for...

I have to admit - it's a sacrifice to come here because the other half of the building that houses Gold's is my favorite Thai place! CHOICES...Came in for lunch, around 11.45. There was only one...

Just went to Gold's Wood Fired Grill and Cafe on a Thursday night for the 1st time. My son recently relocated to Middletown and a few of us wanted to take him out to dinner for his birthday. I chose Gold's based on these reviews and I am glad that I did! The food was superb! There were 6 of us and everyone LOVED their dinner! Choices ranged from salmon, shrimp, chicken to pasta and we all went home raving! Unfortunately none of us tried the pizza, so we'll have to find a reason to go back and visit. My only complaints are the same as the other reviewers, not enough parking and since this is a very small place (it seats about 38) we had about a half hour wait. It was mainly couple-tables, they could use a few more foursome tables. We were ready to eat in the waiting area or at the empty, wasted bar area. Perhaps a change in the interior layout might help them to seat more?

Though only minutes from downtown Newport, this hidden and Italian restaurant is in the middle of an unexpected dead zone, in the dark, but seconds away from BJ's.After living in Newport I will tell...

Evidently there are parking issues at Gold's. I parked my vehicle and my family and I entered the restaurant. It was excessively smoky which made it somewhat difficult to breathe. Regardless, we sat down and...
