My husband and I have seen Dr. Presti for about a year. My husband's last 3 visits were for heartburn and anxiety. She check off the code for "smoking" and refused to change it. Our healthcare does not cover smoking consultations and also felt that this was the wrong diagnosis. I received 3 bills for $120.00. If he wanted a smoking consultation, he would have asked for it. I don't think it's fair that a doctor can charge whatever they want for something you didn't ask for.
