I went to see Dr. Kalayjian about my shoulder which I had injured several years before but never did anything about. He looked at my MRI once, said I didn't have a rotator cuff tear, injected me with cortisone, and sent me off to rehab for rotator cuff tendonitis. Long story short, I am in the process of recovering from surgery to repair not one, but two labral tears in my shoulder, a common injury whose damage can only be visiualized with a dye-injected MRI. With the knowledge I now have from a great doctor I have recently been seeing, I know that for Dr. Kalayjian to not even mention to me the possibility of a labral tear is nothing short of absurd. I would highly recommend NOT going to this doctor. He is terrible. I would've had a better opportunity to fix the problem with my shoulder had I asked a bum on the street for advice.
