What nerve. Seating is packed in like sardines.Service was fair to slow. An average piece of fish for $25 and a small Caesar salad for $9. The table next to us had two meals that were cold and had to be returned for reheating. The broccoli and cheese soup was the only high pint of the meal. The bill for two was $150. We could have eaten at the Top of the Hub, or even at the Outback for a better meal for half the money. Don't go. They seem very impressed with themseves.

Walking into Gaven's we sensed that we were stepping into a very nice restaurant and were looking forward to a nice dining experience and delicious meal. We were greeted warmly by the hostess and led to a lovely reserved candlelit table. In fact, our initial impressions were extremely positive. However, It didn't take long before we were feeling a mild sense of foreboding. Our server was stiff and unwelcoming. She interrupted and rushed us. While taking our order she informed us that side dishes were served "family style" which justified the $8-10 cost. Our party of four ordered 3 sides and each fed only 2 people. Our $30 entrees arrived and there were no interesting flavors on our plates, since our food was so salty. Lastly, we all found the wooden dining chairs to be uncomfortable.

We Went to Gavens with 2 couples. we were all disappointed with the steaks and snobby, degrading waiter. Our bill came to $175.00 per couple and we could have eaten at so many nice restaurants in the area for a lot less with better quality food.

Gavens in Middleton is like walking into a restaurant in Boston's Back Bay. The food is spectacular and atmosphere is elegant. The food is a bit over-priced, but you won't be sorry here. It's a great place to...

The ONLY reason I'm giving this place four stars is because of how much my boyfriend and his father absolutely loved their steaks. My boyfriend's mom and I both ordered the lobster and crab risotto,...

Don't listen to the bad reviews. Gaven's is on the same level as Capital Grille, Abe & Louies and Flemmings, but you don't have to drive into Boston and pay valet parking. The serivce is outstanding. I highly...

The cuisine was masterful. Textures and flavors melded intricately, yet effortlessly, and aroused my palate. My senses were heightened by the ever increasing heat produced from the deft blend of spice... which...

I been to Gavens several times with clients and also for our corporate christmas party. The steaks are the best but stay away from the Sole. It is a stuffed sole wrapped in baby asparagus. Sounds fancy but it...
