User Reviews of Northwest Broward Pediatrics

Office Staff is Nasty!

The office staff however is HORENDOUS! They demand to see the insurance card and verify your address every time. This is the only medical office I know who does this. They also charged me up front for a PPO visit (they are supposed to bill you any difference after they get paid from your insurance co.). I did not have the money in the bank, but in order to get my sick child seen, I had no choice but to pay them before they would let me see a doctor. Well, of course the check bounced and they charged me a $35.00 fee. I called them and explained that I was not expecting to pay at the time because with PPO insurance, you always pay afterwards. They would not budge even after I told them that I would pay them whatever their bank charged them for the bounced fee. When the office manager refused and demanded the $35.00, I asked them if it was worth it to lose the income of three patients because of a lousy $35.00, she said she would not remove fee. So, I paid them their money and picked up my kids' records and off I went to another pediatric office. We are much happier now!
