Stolen Fishing Rods

My friends and I stayed at the boathouse motel on the weekend of April 19th 2008. We have been taking this trip every april for the last 10 years and its always a great time. On this trip our regular hotel was booked so we tried the Boat House Motel- what a mistake... We had 7 fishing rods stolen on friday evening and 2 of our fisherman left town to drive home because they were completely disgusted with the lack of security at the boathouse. I would highly recommend not staying here unless you enjoy getting your valuables stolen. Management was not helpful and simply told us if we werent happy with the lack of security we shouldnt come back and stay with them. This was disgusting we lost $4,200 in fishing equipment and they didnt feel responsible at all for their lack of security. Dont Go to the Boat House Motel.... gozzomike@yahoo.com

What a gem!

I really hate to say how perfect this little hotel is for fear of not being able to get a room. Claudine at the desk was so sweet and accomodating. Beautiful views, expecially from the private sun deck. Pool was immaculate. Hated to leave.
