The best bar in the county hands down!

There is fireplaces everywhere you look. Ambience and friendliness go hand and hand at this joint. It's easy to see why everyone is A buzz about Hightopps. I can't wait for good weather to chill on their deck...

Hightopps Backstage Grille - disappointing.

Service was sub-par. Our waiter was Richard. Server too busy to properly attend to his table. Asked for a drink menu and told one was not available because all of the specialty drink mixes were gone from the busy summer season. Later on heard table next to us ask for a drink menu which they received from a different server. Server gave us a one page menu to order from which included some appetizers, salad and sandwiches. We asked for any seafood specials, but were told no other specials were available. Later(less than an hour later)as the establishment became busier noticed that other tables were given more extensive menu's to choose from so still have no idea on extent of restaurant's menu. Food received was not bad. Would definitely hope for a different server if we decide to go back there are probably better restaurants to visit in Timonium.

Lowtops in my book. Service on several times has been just awful. It's like the servers cannot be bothered to try and give good service. Food is adequate. They cater more to the bar side.

Great place any time of the year

I just love going to this place. Any time of year there is a comfortable area to relax and have a drink and something to eat. I just went this past weekend and there was a fireplace outside that was kept going...
