STAY AWAY FROM THIS HOTEL!

I stayed at this hotel in July '08 to attend a convention that was held there in the adjacent building. I have never in my life stayed at such a terrible hotel. Several weeks before we arrived, I was contacted by the show host who said he was checking our reservation becasue he had found out there were some "issues" with the new owners of the property Kronos hotels,LLC. We then called directly and found out that in fact our reservation had been fouled up. With that corrected, I asked the gentleman I spoke with about the hotel and amenities. He bragged that they were getting all new bedding and it would be installed by the time we arrived. Ha ha ha... Well, one of our rooms looked like a crime scene. Really. Blood stained mattress and box spring, blood spatter on the wall. New mattress? No way! Furniture was missing. The rug smelled of something foul, none of the ouside "secure" doors locked, No internet, No pool (looked like "milk"), the fitness center had broken equipment, No lounge, the restaurant was only open for breakfast and closed at 9:00 AM (yes, I said 9;00 AM, and 10:00 AM on the weekend). When I brought our complaints to the "corporate" guy on premise "Gus", he said that the hotel did not advertise these ameneties and tried to belittle me and my complaints. He did comp us one night (we were there for four), I would have gladly paid more to stay ANYWHERE. Furthermore, I also observed this same "Gus" yell at another customer. Well, never again!
