Like the doctors but hates the staffs

The doctors are GREAT! They took time to interact with my 6 month old daughter to make her comfortable, explain the condition to me (a new parent), and provide reassurance. However, the scheduling staffs and advice nurses were a different story. First, the attitude of the scheduling staffs is rude and impersonal. Secondly, the advising nurses were unsympathetic, unhelpful, and sometime contradictory to the doctor's prescription. Once my daughter had a temperature of 104 and threw up every meal for 3 days, even with Motrin (recommended by the doctor), I called for advice and hoped to bring my daughter in. However, the advice I received after 3 phone calls was to sit tight, wait, and continue feeding her baby Tynenol! If it wasn't for the doctors, I would not take my baby to Altos Pediatrics.
