I stop by when in the area

Huge store with big selection

This business recently expanded again. They now have enough room to carry furniture and clothing. I like shopping there because it is always well organized, color coordinated, smells good and while young the staff is cute and honest about my top choices! I also have had great success consigning some of my items there and making some money to feed my spending habit. worth the drive.

Great Selection...

I've been shopping at BBPD since 1992 when it was on Main St. I love a bargain so will continue to shop there, however, after Dot sold the shop to Melissa, she changed the way she consigns merchandise, without informing Dot's longtime consignors. Namely changing the payout percentage from 50/50 to 45/55, and marking the price on the hang-tag anywhere from 50 cents to $1 more than was on my inventory sheet at check in. I realized it when I went to pick up my items before the pick up date. I mentioned it to one of the clerks, who told me it was to help cover the cost of pulling expired items. That's just part of the job when you own a consignment shop! I've also had several items unaccounted for over the years. I always picked my items up before the last date, and always had items that weren't marked sold but were nowhere to be found in the store. I mentioned that to one of the clerks, also, and was told that they had a problem with theft, that they were always finding tags stuffed under the mirrors and seating in the dressing rooms. This was all while they were still on Main Street. In each case, Melissa was not around. I left several messages for her to call me but she never has. Once, while shopping there, I saw a dress of mine but the matching jacket wasn't with it. I told Melissa, and she just shrugged and said "Oh, just hang it over there and I'll look for it." If everybody that consigns there was treated that way and felt the way I did then she'd have nothing TO consign!

Def. one of the best/cleanest consignment stores

I love shopping in their new store because unlike other stores it always smells good/clean and eveything is catagorized and most are colorized. Not to mention..they get new stuff in everyday, you can see the huge amount of imcoming at the front. great selection of brands too!
