Stay away form 5/3

I had been with 5/3 bank for approximately 7 years when I accidently overdrew my checking account by 3 dollars. I was living out of state at the time, and it took them 2 weeks to notify me by mail.(Phone call not possible? Why 2 weeks instead of the normal 3 business days?) After receiving the notification I was more than happy to pay the 3 dollars and a reactivation fee. Calling the bank I find that, while the notification was in the mail, they had been charging me delinquency fees. So after two weeks we go from 3 dollars to nearly 200!!. I tried to wire money from another 5/3 account. 5/3 would not allow it. Check? Sure, if you don't mind sending another check for the fees accrued while your first check is in the mail. Plus, they won't close the account to stop the building up of charges. This bank, like most, is a pure scam. Go to a credit union.

Over charge

5/3 RD Charge to much for their fees, There is no limit to how much they can charge you for things such as if a person writes a bad check, I'm sure this has happened to all of us at least ounce in their life. I was in the military, I git paid on a fixed date, 1ST and 15TH, My wife had bills on auto pay, the charges went through on the weeknd (Saturday) My money hit the account on Monday, Now I have over 1000 $$ in fees from about 5 bad charges that they got the money for only 24 hours later. they reported me to check writing systems and so now I can't get an account anywhere in KY Now I see how Fifth and Third treats our Veterins and people on a fixed income. This is a policy with all Fifth and Third banks not just this location.
